- The price of this Burner unit is £349 plus VAT including carriage within the UK Mainland excluding highlands and islands. There will be an extra carriage charge for other areas. If you would like one, please let us know the delivery address and we will send you an acknowledgement/pro-forma for you to confirm details. No payment will be required until just before we despatch.
- Burner unit with distinctive design to commemmorate the 80th Anniversary of VE-DAY on May 8th 2025. It can be used to transform some of our previous beacons in to a VE-Day 80 Beacon by unscrewing the old burner unit and screwing on this new one.
- The Beacons that will take this VE-Day 80 Burner are:
- No 6291 - Queen's Birthday Beacon (Rose),
- No 6270 - 70th Anniversay of VE Day Beacon,
- No 2018 - WW1 Battle's Over Beacon,
- No 2022 - Queen's Platinum Jubilee Beacon
- No 2024 - D-Day 80 Beacon.
- You will need to check the bottom of your beacon is in good condition and is leak free.

- The price is £349 plus VAT including carriage within the UK Mainland excluding highlands and islands. There will be an extra carriage charge for other areas. - Payment by Bank Transfer, Credit/Debit Card or Cheque. Payment will not be asked for until the Beacon is about to be despatched. Order by 31st March 2025 to guarantee delivery by 26th April 2025. However please enquire after this date for availability.
- The tripod describes a circle area of about 1.32m diameter and the beacon has an extended height of about 2.15m.
The VE-Day 80 Beacon is for outdoor use only. Keep the Beacon burner at least 3 metres away from any building, roof, wall, or combustible material including trees and bushes and ensure that people are kept at least 5 metres away from the beacon. Gas cylinders should be at least 3 metres away from the beacon.
The burner and flame are stable in the wind but we would recommend the use of the ground anchor and bolt (supplied) or sandbags (not supplied) (see above)
The beacon needs to be supervised by two competent persons at all times when lit.
